92/100
The Corn Dolly is a proper traditional pub in Bradford, offering a warm, welcoming vibe with a brilliant range of drinks and a cracking beer garden for enjoying a pint with friends.
Pros and Cons

Areas for Improvement
  • It can feel a bit worn around the edges, with that classic pub scent of stale beer and not the tidiest decor, which might not suit everyone

Jacobs Well

90/100
Jacobs Well is a delightful real ale pub in Bradford that's all about cracking beers, tasty pies, and a warm, friendly welcome that makes you feel right at home.
Pros and Cons
What's Great
  • The selection of real ales and ciders is absolutely spot on – they've got house favourites and guest beers that change weekly, making every visit feel fresh.
  • The staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable; Dan and Chris really know their stuff, and it's clear they care about getting your drink just right.
Areas for Improvement
  • The focus is very much on traditional real ales, so if you're after a wider range of drinks like cocktails or mainstream lagers, it might feel a bit limited.
  • Opening times can vary a bit, especially on Sundays, which might catch you out if you're planning a spontaneous trip.

4.6(127 reviews)
90/100
Bridge Tavern is a welcoming traditional pub in Bradford with a cracking atmosphere and live music, though it has a couple of niggles like the state of the facilities.
Pros and Cons
What's Great
  • It's a proper traditional pub with a unique décor that really gives it that cosy, old-school charm.
  • The landlord, Fred, and his partner Samantha are incredibly welcoming and friendly – he's been running the place for 37 years, which is just brilliant!
Areas for Improvement
  • The men's toilets have been reported as quite smelly and not well-maintained, which could put a damper on things.

City Vaults

Verified
4.4(1836 reviews)
88/100
City Vaults is a cracking little gastropub in Bradford that's all about good food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere – perfect for a casual catch-up with mates.
Pros and Cons
What's Great
  • The atmosphere is absolutely spot on – it's lively and welcoming, with a great vibe that makes you feel right at home, especially in the heart of Bradford city centre.
  • The food is a real highlight; they've got a fantastic range from classic pub grub like juicy burgers and full English breakfasts to international flavours like Mexican and Indian dishes, all at very reasonable prices.
Areas for Improvement
  • While the food is generally lovely, it might not wow everyone – one mate mentioned it was good but didn't quite blow them away, so it could feel a bit ordinary on some visits.
  • Prices are inexpensive overall, but certain combos like a burger, sides, and drinks can add up to around £42, which might seem a tad steep if you're watching your wallet.

4.4(1236 reviews)
88/100
Sunbridgewells is a delightful, quirky bar in Bradford that's full of character and makes for a fun, atmospheric spot to unwind with mates, though it has its quieter moments.
Pros and Cons
What's Great
  • The atmosphere is absolutely brilliant – it's got this quirky, underground vibe from its history as an air raid shelter, making it a real standout spot for a memorable night out.
  • The staff are top-notch and really helpful, especially for planning events like hen nights; they go out of their way to make everything smooth and enjoyable.
Areas for Improvement
  • It seems like it's not as bustling as it used to be, with just the pub and a pizza spot left, so it might feel a tad quiet or underutilised at times, especially during the day.
  • While it's got a lot going for it, the overall experience can vary depending on when you visit – it might not always live up to the hype if you're expecting a lively crowd.

  • The staff are really welcoming and friendly, creating a casual, dive bar atmosphere that's ideal for making friends, dancing, and soaking up the rock bar energy.
Areas for Improvement

Areas for Improvement
  • There have been a few grumbles about staff attitudes, with one person mentioning a bit of a rough encounter that put a dampener on their visit.

4.3(304 reviews)
85/100
Crown Sports Bar in Bradford is a cracking spot for a lively night with live music, friendly vibes, and affordable drinks, though it might feel a bit subdued during off-peak hours.
Pros and Cons
What's Great
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
  • It's got a brilliant atmosphere, especially with live music and plenty of space to enjoy a fun night out.
Areas for Improvement
  • It can be a bit quiet at certain times, like on a weekday afternoon, so it might not always have that buzzing energy you're after.
  • Not much on the food front from what folks have said – one person mentioned they didn't even eat there, so it could do with more options if you're looking for a full meal.
