About This Pub
Ah, the Rose and Crown – what a lovely little find in Bradford! From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this warm, welcoming feel that just draws you in, with staff who are dead keen to share the history of the place and make your visit memorable. I love how they've got a cracking atmosphere, playing the best tunes and showing sports, which makes it spot on for catching up with mates over a pint of their own vegan ales or craft ciders at decent prices. It's also super dog-friendly, so if you're out with your pooch, that's a big plus. On the flip side, though, it's a bit of a bummer that they don't offer any food, meaning you'll need to sort that yourself or plan around it. Plus, with only a few reviews out there, it might not be on everyone's radar yet, and the limited opening times could catch you out if you're hoping for a mid-week pint. All in all, if you're up for an authentic pub experience with a personal touch, it's well worth seeking out – just go in with realistic expectations and you'll have a cracking time!
Pros and Cons
Pros

The atmosphere is absolutely brilliant – think lively vibes with great music and sports on the telly, perfect for a proper night out.
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming; they'll even give you a tour of the place and chat about its fascinating history, making you feel right at home.
-
It's a hidden gem with affordable drinks, including their own Nomadic vegan ales and craft ciders, which are a real treat.
-
Dog-friendly setup means you can bring your furry friend along, and the option to bring your own food adds a nice flexible touch.
Cons
-
With only a handful of reviews, it might not be the most well-known spot, so you could miss out if you're not in the know.
-
They don't serve food on site, which is a bit of a shame if you're after a full meal – you'll have to bring your own or head elsewhere.
-
Opening hours are a tad limited, just five days a week, so it's not ideal for spontaneous visits on quieter days.
-
No website or online presence makes it tricky to get the latest info or book ahead, which could be frustrating in this digital age.
