About This Pub

Ah, Crown Sports Bar – it's one of those places in Bradford that just hits the spot for a good old catch-up with friends. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are absolute gems, always going the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome, whether you're there for live music or just to watch a game. It's spacious and has a great atmosphere, especially if you're into that energetic pub feel, and they've got thoughtful accessibility features that make it inclusive for all. Plus, being right in the town centre means it's dead easy to pop in after a wander around. On the flip side, it can be a tad quiet during the day, so if you're after a buzzing crowd, you might want to time your visit for evenings or weekends. And while the drinks are reasonably priced, there doesn't seem to be much buzz about the food, which could be a missed opportunity if you're hoping for a proper bite. Overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxed or lively outing, with that 4.3 rating speaking volumes about the good times had by most.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
  • It's got a brilliant atmosphere, especially with live music and plenty of space to enjoy a fun night out.
  • Super accessible, with thoughtful touches like ramps and side doors for those with mobility needs.
  • Drinks are reasonably priced, so you won't break the bank while catching up with mates.
  • Perfectly located in Bradford town centre, easy to find and ideal for a quick pint after work or before an event.
Cons
  • It can be a bit quiet at certain times, like on a weekday afternoon, so it might not always have that buzzing energy you're after.
  • Not much on the food front from what folks have said – one person mentioned they didn't even eat there, so it could do with more options if you're looking for a full meal.
  • The online presence is a tad basic, with some errors on their site, which might make it harder to get all the info you need before heading over.

Lovely place. Very accomodating for my partner who is in a mobility scooter. Opened the side door for us to get in where there was a ramp into the main bar area. Reasonably priced drinks. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Not a sports person myself but is definitely idea if you want to catch a game with a pint.

Friendly pub. Quiet when visited (Thursday afternoon) but can see the potential. Excellent bar maid, she was really friendly and more than generous

Amongst other projects I play guitar in rock band "The 1960 Four" is always a pleasure to play here. Great, recently renovated pub with amazing clientele. Definitely recommended.
