About This Pub
Ah, the White Horse – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a relaxed afternoon or evening out. I have to say, the staff really stand out; they're so approachable and make you feel like you're chatting with old mates behind the bar, which adds such a nice touch to the whole experience. The food's another winner – proper, no-nonsense dishes that leave you satisfied without breaking the bank, and it's brilliant for families or if you've got the dog in tow. They've got all the trimmings too, like live sports on the telly and some tempting deals on pints, plus that beer garden is a treat on a sunny day. On the flip side, it's not going to wow you with gourmet options, so if you're in the mood for something a bit more upscale, you might want to look elsewhere. And while things have improved a lot, I reckon it could still get a tad hectic during peak times, so popping in early or booking ahead might save you some hassle. All in all, it's a solid choice for us pub enthusiasts – honest, enjoyable, and with that community spirit that's hard to beat.

-
Being close to Bicester Village makes it an ideal spot to pop in for a refresh before or after shopping trips.
Cons
-
It might not be the place for something fancy – it's classic pub fare, so if you're after more adventurous cuisine, you could be left wanting.
-
From what I've heard, there were some service hiccups in the past, though it seems they've sorted that out now, so it's worth checking.
-
It can get a bit lively during big events or match days, which might mean waits for tables or a noisier vibe if you're after somewhere quiet.

Lovely group of staff. Everyone making sure you’re being served promptly and with a massive smile! Great atmosphere full of families, dogs and a bustling community. Would highly recommend for a quick drink or a sit-down meal if you have the time. The food was delicious. Served by Kat who made our visit smooth and enjoyable with her polite attitude, showing that the staff have a mass of experience in hospitality and bartending.
Nice atmosphere, and such friendly staff! Kat was espeically helpful at the bar and super approachable. Food was amazing and super quick service!
Can’t recommend enough! Perfect pub for a nice family meal.
We haven't gone to the White Horse for years due to the poor service in the past but after our daughter told us about the change in management we thought we'd have a look. We've never seen it look so good. The service and the level of hospitality was amazing. Ashleigh took the time to come talk to us and was incredibly friendly. We went in for one and stayed for three we were having so much fun. Love the improvements hope it carries on going well for them as it seems to be getting pretty popular.
Popped into The White Horse in Bicester and was pleasantly surprised. The food is classic pub grub done right—big portions, tasty, and great value. The double bacon cheeseburger is a winner, and there’s even a nice menu for kids and seniors.
The staff were lovely—super friendly and checked in just the right amount. The place has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and it’s dog-friendly too, which is a bonus.
If you’re after a laid-back meal with solid food and service, this spot is definitely worth a visit.
