About This Pub

Ah, the Wheatsheaf – it's one of those pubs that really pulls you in with its energetic feel, especially on nights with discos or when the footie's on. From what I've gathered, the beer is spot on and the staff often go out of their way to make things enjoyable, which is always a plus when you're out for a relaxed evening. It's particularly ace for Spurs fans, giving that community vibe that makes watching a game feel like being with mates. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses; I hear it's a bit of a letdown without a garden for those sunny afternoons, and there are tales of it feeling a tad exclusive or having the odd bad encounter that might put you off. Still, with a solid 4.2 rating, it's worth popping in if you're nearby – just keep your expectations balanced and you'll likely have a good time.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is brilliant for events like disco nights, which really get the party started and keep things lively.
  • They serve up some cracking beer, and the staff are generally top-notch, making it a welcoming spot for a chat and a pint.
  • It's a fantastic place for football enthusiasts, especially if you're a Spurs supporter, with a great vibe for watching the matches.
Cons
  • There's no pub garden, which is a real shame when the sun's out and you'd fancy a bit of fresh air with your drink.
  • Some folks have had unwelcoming experiences, like that 'regulars only' sign or run-ins with staff that left a sour taste.
  • It can have its off days with service, as a few reviews mentioned feeling shouted at or not quite made to feel at home.

Has this pub gone again the problem is with this pub there is no pub garden and The Vine is so much better to have a drink at plus Covid hasn’t helped this put. At least they have tried to make it better.
