About This Pub

Ah, The Wrestlers – it's one of those places that really warms your cockles once you step inside. From what I've gathered chatting about it, the real star is their Thai food; it's fresh, packed with punchy flavours, and comes out in no time, which is brilliant if you're popping in for a quick bite. The staff are just lovely, always up for a chat and happy to tweak things to suit your tastes, like making dishes gluten-free without any drama. And let's not forget the beers – a decent range that's poured just right, making it feel like a proper pub outing. On the flip side, it's not the easiest spot to reach, tucked away a bit, and while there's parking nearby, it's not on-site, so you might end up doing a short walk. Plus, it has more of a restaurant feel these days, with everyone tucking into meals rather than just sinking pints, which might not hit the spot if you're after a classic boozer atmosphere. All in all, it's a top choice if you're in the mood for something a bit special, but keep in mind it might not be your everyday local haunt.

                            Pros
-

The Thai food here is absolutely spot on – think generous portions, bursting with flavour, and it's all served up quickly at reasonable prices.

The staff are always so welcoming and friendly; they go out of their way to make you feel at home, even sorting out dietary needs like gluten-free options without a fuss.

-

They've got a solid selection of beers on tap, with some pints tasting particularly fresh and well-poured, making it a proper treat for a casual drink.

Cons
-

It's a tad out of the way in Cambridge, so you might have to make a bit of an effort to get there, which could put some off on a whim.

-

Parking isn't available right outside, though there's a big Tesco car park nearby, which is handy but not ideal if you're in a rush.

It feels more like a cosy restaurant than a traditional pub at times, with most folks focused on the food rather than just propping up the bar.

Friendly service and a fair range of beers, but the main attraction is excellent Thai food at reasonable prices, brought to your table within 10-15 minutes. No parking that I could see, but there's a vast Tesco carpark right behind.
I’ve wanted to visit this place for some time, but it’s a bit out of the way. However today it was really close to my hotel so I made a concerted effort to get there. I was not disappointed.
The pint of Tribute I had was excellent. I’ve drunk it many times before, but never tasting this good.
My Thai chicken jungle curry was excellent and served quickly. A good sized portion for the price.
Other customers were sat chatting and grazing on prawn crackers.
Highly recommended.
Staff are always very welcoming. I ordered prawn and chicken garlic pepper , very generous portion sizes for the money. The flavours are unreal.
Thanks so much for a tasty lunch.
I would highly recommend if you haven’t been before , the best food in Cambridge!
Went here with people from work for our monthly social. Was absolutely blown away by the food. When i asked about a gluten free menu i was told the whole menu could be prepared gluten free and wow was the food amazing and i could eat in comfort knowing that thy obviously knew what they were doing. I got the prawn crackers and the chicken jungle curry.. it was super super tasty loads of perfectly cooked chicken and veggies a very nice portion of jasmin rice and a flavourful curry.. will be going back at every opportunity 10/10!

Nice surprise to find good Thai food in a pub.
Staff were great, prices reasonable and food delicious.
They are happy to make the food to your spice level.
I like spicy and it definitely came with some punch.
It feels more like a restaurant than a pub as most people were eating and it seems to be local people mainly dining there.
Definitely worth a stop for a bite.
