About This Pub
Oh, The World's End in Camden is one of those places that just sticks with you after a visit; it's got this warm, welcoming feel that's perfect for catching up with friends over a pint or diving into the alternative music scene. I love how the staff go the extra mile – they're always up for a laugh and make you feel right at home, which really sets the tone for a great evening. The atmosphere is buzzing, with its historical touches and that eclectic mix of people, plus the connection to the Underworld venue means you can pop downstairs for some live tunes if the mood strikes. On the food front, their pizzas and pub classics are solid choices that pair nicely with a cold beer, though I'll admit, the prices do add up quickly, especially in such a prime spot. It's not without its downsides – it can get rammed on weekends, and things might feel a tad pricey for what you're getting – but overall, it's a brilliant spot for anyone wanting to soak up Camden's energy without the hassle. If you're into that rock scene or just fancy a pint in a place with character, I'd say give it a go; it's got that balance of fun and familiarity that makes for a memorable outing.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant – always friendly, welcoming, and ready for a chat, which really makes the place feel like a proper community hub.
-
The atmosphere is spot on, with that iconic Camden vibe, great alternative music, and a rich history that adds a bit of magic to your visit.
-
They've got some cracking food options, like those Camden finest pizzas, which hit the spot after a night out or just for a casual meal.
-
It's linked to the Underworld live music venue downstairs, making it a top choice for anyone into rock, metal, or catching a gig.
-
The location is spot on in the heart of Camden, easy to find and surrounded by all the buzz, perfect for exploring the area afterwards.
Cons
-
Prices can be a bit steep for drinks and food, which is par for the course in London but might catch you off guard if you're not expecting it.
-
It gets pretty busy, especially in a touristy spot like Camden, so you might have to queue or struggle for a seat on peak nights.
-
The food, while tasty, is fairly basic pub grub, and some might find it doesn't quite live up to the hype given the cost.

Staff are great here. Drinks are expensive but in line with other London venues. Sound was great.
Always a great time everytime we visit this bar. Lovely spot with some fantastic alternative music. Food is always great and for somewhere in such a tourist heavy area the prices are still decent. Staff are always super friendly and lovely. Definitely a must try spot for anyone into the metal scene.
Expensive for what is basic pub food, but it's also good food in the middle of a tourist area, so not surprising. Great atmosphere, fits into the alternative scene, little nooks to hide in or more open space if you want the social atmosphere
Nice pub, good size and decor. Busy location of Camden. Easy to find. Mainly rock music. Been a few times.
I loved this place, especially the people in the pub, we had a lot of laughs from the beginning till the end. Security was cracking jokes, some random people spoke to us, the waitress asked if we wanted a specific song played (this was super nice of her!!)! Food was great and in general I must admit I didn't have such a chilled night out in a while! Fully recommended!
