About This Pub
Ah, The Edinboro Castle – it's one of those tucked-away gems between the hustle of Camden and the peaceful greens of Regent's Park, offering that quintessential British pub experience with a bit of quirky charm. From what I've gathered from folks who've been, the food really hits the spot; think flavoursome dishes that pair brilliantly with their explorative drinks menu, making it ideal for a lazy afternoon pint or a family meal. The staff often shine through, with cheerful service that leaves you feeling right at home, and it's got this warm, community-driven atmosphere that's hard to beat. Throw in a massive garden for sunny days and plenty of screens for the footie, and it's no wonder it's a favourite for a relaxed outing. On the downside, it's not without its flaws – there have been a few tales of service slips, like waiting ages for something simple or dishes not arriving together, which might leave you a tad frustrated. Still, with its solid overall feel and dog-friendly vibes, I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area; just keep expectations realistic and you'll likely have a cracking time.

Surprisingly good food matched by even better service in particular from Ruth and Abbey. Took me ages to finally try this local pub but I will be a regular going forward. Also a giant garden and plenty of screens for live sports. Highly recommended.
Really nice atmosphere with a full on community spirit for something that could of been mistaken for ‘transient’. This establishment is something that is totally not to be missed if in the Camden area, and especially not if the sun’s out 👍
Have come here many times and had great service and the best chicken caesar ever. Was very disappointed on Tuesday 10th June. Service was awful, asked for mayonnaise twice and still didn't receive it. One main came out about 10 minutes before the other with no communication. This has really put me off returning which is a shame because it used to be so good. Please train your staff better.
SUPER dog friendly - free treats & easy access to filtered water tap at bar. Lovely staff. Didn't eat so can't vouch for the good.
I had a fantastic experience with JAY . He was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the perfect cocktail based on my preferences. The service was efficient and friendly, making the whole visit enjoyable. Highly recommend!
