About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Wheelwrights Arms; it's one of those pubs that just warms your cockles from the moment you step inside. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this fantastic community spirit where everyone – staff and regulars alike – is dead chuffed to chat and make you feel welcome, like you're part of the gang. The food's a standout, especially their Sunday lunches with that delicious roast beef and heaps of fresh, local veg; it's hearty and hits the spot after a long walk by the sea. They've got live music nights that sound like a blast, and extras like a pool table and a beer garden add to the fun, making it a top spot for a relaxed evening. On the flip side, the beer choices are a bit thin on the ground, with no real ales on tap, which might disappoint if you're after a proper pint of the good stuff. And the opening times can be a bit unpredictable, so you might need to plan around that to avoid missing out. All in all, it's a solid choice for a pint and a chat, with more highs than lows, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area – just go with an open mind and you'll have a whale of a time.

-
The beer selection is a bit limited, with no real ales on draft – might just have some bottled options, which is a shame for ale enthusiasts.

Attended Friday night to watch band called Storm play great night. Great friendly buzz around the place.
Had a wonderful Sunday lunch served up by best landlord. Friendly bloke strange choice of football club but never mind. Had the roast beef was lush and choice of vegetables amazing. All local produce. The lads doing a great job support your local boozer.
So fun here! The locals are awesome and the staff give such a great service. Player poker in the beer garden!!
Brilliant pub, Brilliant customers, Brilliant staff. We will be back!
I didn’t eat as we’re were performing but I heard the food is delicious
Staff are lovely and Richard, the Manager, was very accommodating and friendly.
Will definitely return
Pub is bigger inside than it looks from outside. Cozy traditional locals boozer. Everyone friendly. Modern toilets. Pool table. Small car park. No real ales on draft but may have been some bottled. Live music occasionally which is why I went.
