About This Pub

You know, when I think about The Two Towers, it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in London – not too flashy, but full of heart. The staff are brilliant, always up for a chat and making sure you're looked after, whether that's bringing drinks over or just sharing a laugh. I love how they've got a pool table and some board games lying around, which adds a bit of excitement to the evening, and the beer is always spot on, served cold and with a good selection to choose from. Plus, the garden's a real treat for a sunny afternoon or even ducking in from the rain. On the flip side, it's definitely more of your classic, down-to-earth pub, so if you're in the mood for something a bit more refined, it might not be the one. I've heard a few mixed opinions floating about, and without a website, it's not the easiest to get the lowdown beforehand. All in all, though, it's a solid spot for a relaxed pint and good company – I'd say give it a go if you're after that genuine pub experience.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming, always going the extra mile to make you feel at home.
  • It's got a great festive vibe, especially when it's buzzing with folks, and there's a pool table for some fun games.
  • The beer is spot on – nice and cold with options like Brixton Reliance that really hit the mark.
  • There's a charming garden area, perfect for enjoying a pint in the sunshine or sheltering from the rain.
  • It's family-friendly in a relaxed way, with board games around to keep things entertaining for all ages.
Cons
  • It's more of a traditional, no-frills pub, so if you're after something fancy or upscale, it might not quite fit the bill.
  • No website or online presence makes it a bit tricky to check details or plan a visit in advance.
  • Some people have shared mixed experiences, suggesting it might appeal more to certain crowds rather than everyone.
  • The operating status seems a tad unclear, which could leave you wondering if it's open when you fancy a stop by.

I absolutely love this little pub. There's a pool table and it can get very festive depending on how many people are inside!

I popped in for a pint in the sun as I walked by. I have heard mixed reviews about this pub but I found the staff to be friendly and the beer wash nice and cold. Definitely not a bistro pub, more of a work man's pub. I went on a late afternoon so not sure what it's like in the evening but I found it pleasant. This pub definitely needs some maintenance but for a quick pint and friendly banter I will return.

I visited the pub with my 2 year old to shelter from the rain and have a couple of drinks. We received a warm welcome and I had a great pint of Brixton Reliance. My daughter was entertained messing around with the collection of board games (adult games, not kids ones) and we both had a good time. I’d like to go back and enjoy a pint or two in other circumstances. Cheers!

Came across this pub a couple of days ago and had such a good night went back 3 nights in a row! Really friendly bartender who went above and beyond bringing the drinks to the table and was just lovely, making our time there fun and enjoyable. The pub has lots of friendly regulars who were all so lovely as well! Ill definitely be back !
