About This Pub

Ah, The Two Brewers – it's one of those pubs that just hits the mark for a proper British outing. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the food is a real highlight; folks rave about the massive Sunday roasts and tasty options like Japanese burgers and chocolate brownies that leave you stuffed and smiling. The service stands out too – the team there really knows how to make you feel welcome, turning a simple meal into a warm, homely experience. And let's not forget the atmosphere; with live music and a positive energy, it's easy to see why people come back for more, especially with that nice outdoor space for sunnier days. On the flip side, though, the opening times look a bit muddled, which could put a dampener on spontaneous plans. Plus, with no fresh reviews in recent months, it might not be as lively as it once was, and the website's a tad underwhelming if you're after more details. All in all, if you're in the area and fancy a reliable spot for good grub and good vibes, it's worth a punt – just keep an eye on those hours to avoid any surprises!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely spot on, especially their Sunday roasts – think generous portions of delicious meat and veg that leave you feeling properly satisfied.
  • The staff are so welcoming and make you feel right at home, adding a real cosy vibe to the place.
  • It's got a warm and uplifting atmosphere, with fun events like live music that can turn a simple visit into a memorable afternoon.
  • There's a lovely outdoor area, perfect for enjoying a pint or a meal when the weather's nice.
Cons
  • The operating hours seem a bit confusing and inconsistent, which might make it tricky to plan a visit.
  • Not much going on with recent reviews, as there haven't been any in the last six months, so it might not be as buzzing lately.
  • Their website is pretty basic and doesn't give you much info, which could leave you wanting more details before heading over.

Fantastic experience. The staff were all so welcoming and made you feel at home. A very well kept pub/restaurant. We ordered Sunday Lunch. When it first came out we thought it looked on the smaller portion side. We were very wrong. There were layers upon layers of delicious meat and vegetables with beautiful gravey. All meals ordered (beef, chicken & gammon) were faultless. The service was second to none. We will absolutely, without a doubt be returning.

Stopped by this lovely place. Fantastic Sunday afternoon, warm and welcoming atmosphere. First visit and was serenaded by the Amazing singing Duo 'Exact'. Opera to Pop music, there was some dancing. Uplifting and positive space and staff.

Had a fab Mother's day lunch today. My first visit. Roast pork was huge and really tasty. The mum's loved the little gifts which was a very thoughtful touch. Will definitely visit again.
