About This Pub
Ah, The Crown – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper countryside gem, you know? From the moment you step in, you're greeted with that quintessential village pub atmosphere, all cosy and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends over a pint or tucking into some really tasty food. The staff are brilliant; Tim and the team make you feel like a regular straight away, always ready with a smile and happy to sort out any little details, whether it's for a casual visit or something like an engagement party. The menu's a winner too, with standout dishes like those delicious pies and roasts that leave you satisfied without breaking the bank. And let's not forget the secure garden – it's a lovely spot for soaking up the sun or watching some sports action on TNT. On the flip side, the opening times can be a tad confusing with varying schedules, so it's worth double-checking to avoid any disappointment. Plus, if you're not local, it might take a bit of effort to get there, but once you do, it's well worth it for that authentic pub experience. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone after a friendly, down-to-earth spot to relax and enjoy themselves.

This place deserves the full 5 stars and more, I am so happy to highly recommend you visit!!
We held our engagement party here and the landlord Tim was just a dream to work with! Such a kind, helpful, easy going owner, absolutely nothing was too much trouble and he did everything to make our night perfect in every way possible, so we are very thankful!
Our guests were all so impressed with this cute, quaint pub and we were just over the moon with how fabulous the entire evening went, from Tim and team helping us with the set up in the day to the bar staff being so attentive on the night.
I can highly recommend it for a private party but it's also a wonderful spot to take a visit just for drink or a roast too!
Thanks again to Tim and all his team 😁🥂
The Crown is a proper old fashioned pub but with a modern twist. The landlord is so helpful and genuinely trying to make everyone's visit enjoyable. Had a private party there tonight and everyone commented on how enjoyable the night was. Hats off to Tim and the staff.
Lovely little pub! Stopped off after a long dog walk in the great woods. Tim and the locals gave us a really warm welcome. The pies were delicious, will definitely be returning!
New landlord Tim is very friendly and welcoming, lovely chilled atmosphere. They have a new chef think his name was Jordan, whose roast dinner was absolutely amazing. Well done, highly recommend
