About This Pub

Ah, The Twa Corbies – it's one of those classic Glasgow pubs that just hits the spot for a relaxed pint with friends. From what I've gathered, the staff are absolute stars; they're chatty, genuine, and make you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The pints are poured to perfection – think a creamy Guinness that's hard to beat – and the prices won't leave you rummaging for change. It's kept impeccably clean too, which is always a nice surprise in a busy spot like this. Plus, there's a fun vibe with bar games and the occasional live entertainment, making it perfect for a casual afternoon or evening out. On the flip side, though, it's got that strong local flavour, especially with the football crowd; if you're not aligned with the Celtic supporters, it might feel a tad intense at times. Still, for a quick drink and a chat, it's a solid choice – just go in with an open mind and you'll likely have a great time.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel like catching up with old mates.
  • They serve a top-notch pint, like that perfect Guinness that's always a treat.
  • Prices are very reasonable, so you can enjoy a few drinks without worrying about the wallet.
  • The pub is spotlessly clean, from the bar to the toilets, which is a real bonus for a cosy spot.
  • It's got a lively atmosphere with bar games and even live entertainment, ideal for a quick get-together.
Cons
  • There can be a strong local vibe around sports teams, like Celtic supporters, which might make some feel a bit uneasy if they're not on the same side.
  • It might not be the best for settling in for hours if the atmosphere doesn't quite click with you, as it's more suited to a swift drink.

Very welcoming staff, the place was nice and warm and prices were very reasonable. It's not the usual kind of place we review. However, we were in the area and fancied a quick pint, Recommended to anyone living around about great staff who are genuinely friendly and chatty. Thanks.

One day I felt very uneasy because most of the pub supported Celtic and the person I was in with supported rangers good for a quick drink but wouldn't sit for a few hours unless atmosphere changed was getting eyed when winching by the pubs manager

Friendly staff and customers, always someone to talk to, bar games, pool competition on Saturday afternoon Bar prices are very reasonable and the pub and toilets are spotless Ideal for youngsters and oldies like me. There is also a great function room. Which often host's live entertainment can't want for much else.
