About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about Coorie In @ The Black Bull – it's one of those places that really captures the spirit of a good Scottish pub, tucked away in Cumbernauld. From the reviews, the staff stand out as absolute gems; they're attentive and make you feel right at home, whether you're there for a quick lunch or a full evening out. The food's another highlight – think generous portions of tasty dishes with a proper Scottish flair, all at prices that won't leave you rummaging for change. It's got that cosy, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for families or just kicking back with friends over a pint or a fancy cocktail. On the downside, though, there was that one review where someone had a tough time with access, which is a bit of a shame and might put off those with mobility needs. Plus, the odd recent low rating suggests things aren't always hitting the mark, so it might vary depending on when you go. All in all, with a solid average rating, I'd say it's worth popping in for a try – just keep an eye on the details to make sure it suits your plans.

AVOID! Tried to come to this place last Saturday and couldn't fit through the door (ugh). Staff were completely unwilling to accommodate me by removing the door off its hinges. I rarely leave the house because of my low self esteem and this was utterly humiliating. Some people are big and wide and girthy and it's places like this that make us shut ourselves away....
PS. I've been experiencing cluster headaches for several days now and can't feel my feet please help me.
Lovely local pub with cosy Scottish themed interior. Portions are generous and food is reasonably priced too. We had a large party of 9 and everyone was fed at the same time for each course with no issues. Our server Arron was fantastic, very attentive, and a real gentleman. Thank you for a lovely evening.
The family at AtlasAdventured highly recommends dining here!
Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Scotland. Our server, Abbie, was so great with us and our daughter. She gave great recommendations and was very kind and friendly. This was our first time trying Haggis and we loved it! Especially our daughter! I highly recommend the bruschetta and the mac n cheese. So good.
The highlight of our meal was a local gentleman named Peter. His friendliness and generosity is not something you see nowadays. We’ve never come across someone so kind, and we will always remember our chat with him. Our daughter talks about him everyday as if he were a relative. That is exactly how I pictured the locals in Scotland would be, and we are grateful to have met him. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend dining here!
We wanted to make a stop for lunch on our way, so we decided to go here. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the food was great. I had the fried chicken wrap, which I can highly recommend. My cousin went for the steak burger and extra loaded fries - the loaded fries are a huge portion, just to let you know.
They also have desserts, which are on a different menu.
Received a recommendation to visit for lunch. It was definitely worth the recommendation. The interior design is lovely and has an authentic Scottish theme. Lauren looked after my friend and I very well. The food was delicious and priced well. Definitely would return and recommend.
