About This Pub
Ah, The Sultan – what a delightful little pub it is, tucked away in London. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, it's all about that easy-going charm where you can sink into a comfy spot with a top-notch pint of Hop Back ale without emptying your wallet. The reviews rave about the friendly faces behind the bar and the occasional live music that really lifts the spirits, plus there's outdoor seating for those sunny afternoons. On the flip side, though, their website could use a bit of a spruce-up; it's not the most straightforward to use, and the operating hours seem a tad unclear, so you might want to verify those before heading over. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone after a genuine, unpretentious pub experience – just go with an open mind and you'll likely have a cracking time.

Cons
-
The website's a bit of a muddle – it's not the easiest to navigate or get useful info from.

There might be some confusion with the opening hours; it seems inconsistent, so it's worth checking in advance to avoid disappointment.
-
As a local pub, it doesn't offer a massive variety if you're after something more upscale or fancy.

Relaxed and chill environment with a selection of good beer (from Hop Back brewery) at very reasonable prices. A great place to catch up with friends. Live music was a very nice touch.
I’m a bit biased - as it’s my local haunt - but I can attest that it probably has the most relaxed atmosphere of any public house in the area. It’s mainly real ale aficionados who frequent the premises but I tend to go for the wines they have by the bottle or glass. The menu of snacks is good for a wet pub with pies and toasties on the menu as well as the normal crisp packet fare. The staff here are excellent. And they also allow vaping inside if you don’t take the pee.
Friendly local pub that has a range of cask ales available from Hop Back brewery . The beers are well looked after and their prices are reasonable. It's a big pub that's split into two rooms downstairs, there's outside seating as well. Within walking distance of both south Wimbledon and colliers wood underground stations. A must visit if you find yourself in the area
Excellent pub about 10 minutes walk from Colliers Wood tube station. Six cask ales - and three ciders - on handpump when I last visited. Some outdoor seating.
An attractive two-bar 1950s brick building built to replace original demolished during the war and now extended with a conservatory. Has been identified by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) as having a regionally important historic pub interior. Rescued from likely permanent closure in 1994 by Hop Back Brewery; this is their only London pub.

Great relaxing pub with well kept ales, mainly Hop Back Brewery. Very welcoming and friendly service from the two ladies behind the bar. Looking forward to my next visit!!
