About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Station – it's one of those pubs that just hits the mark for a relaxed evening with mates. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the place has this fantastic laid-back yet energetic feel, perfect for everything from quiz nights to just sinking a few pints. The food really stands out; those Mustard burgers are juicy and packed with bold flavours, and the Sunday roasts are hearty and delicious, making it a top choice if you're after a proper meal. The drink selection is spot on too, with craft ales and premium lagers that go down a treat. And the staff? They're an absolute delight, always cheerful and attentive, which adds to that homely vibe. On the flip side, the decor is a bit quirky – think unique touches like a pink moose bust – which is fun for some, but it might not suit everyone if you're in the mood for something more traditional. Also, the opening times can vary a little, so it's smart to check ahead. All in all, it's a solid spot in King's Heath that's worth a visit for good times and great value, but keep those preferences in mind for the best experience.

Loved the vibe at The Station! Laid-back but still buzzing. We came for quiz night and ended up staying way later than planned. Great pint selection, super friendly staff, and the outdoor seating is a proper gem when the sun’s out. Classic Moseley charm.
An icon of the high st for many years, The Station has just got better with the arrival of Mustard, serving juicy burgers and delicious sides. We went for The Tangy One and loved it! Will be back regularly before the residency is over. The bar staff are really friendly, the beer garden is a sun trap and there always seems to be something on, creating a great atmosphere.
Went for a Christmas Roast, as who wants to cook a few days before.
Food was excellent, one of the best Pub Roasts I've had for a long time.
Sides were great, and they even provided some Pigs in Blankets for the one of our parties dog.
Staff were friendly, and prices are reasonable for a Sunday Lunch.
Will definitely be back
Kings Heath Quirky Comfort
I love the style of the pubs in Moseley Village. The Station, located on its border carries the baton of beautiful quirky decor. Where else can you find the bust of a pink moose hung on the wall of a public house? At its heart The Station is a good old fashioned Brummie pub. The garden out back is accommodating, bright and cheerful. It was there I met a regular who swore that the Sunday Roast was out of this world.
I ordered the Nut Roast. I mentioned I am a vegan. The staff accommodated and made amendments to the vegetarian offering. It was delivered up quickly. Given the extremely high standards set by eateries in Kings Heath, I was expecting THE BEST. Any other town, I would have been happy. Having visited Upstairs at Grace & James for their Sunday offering. The Stations Sunday Roast lacked the finer details to put a smile on my face.
The Station offer a Vegan Dessert, the sweet Banoffee Waffle, recommended if you have a sweet tooth. All in, good value for money. Staff are salt of the earth. The period pub is beautiful. A great meeting place.
We visited for a Sunday roast as we had been told they were very good. The food was wonderful, lovely roast dinner. We will be returning. It was also nice to sit out the back in the covered garden to finish our drinks.
