About This Pub
Ah, The Robin Hood – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a breath of fresh air, doesn't it? From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, it's got this lovely, welcoming atmosphere where the staff go out of their way to make you feel at ease, and the other visitors are just as chummy. The food really steals the show; think hearty, well-cooked meals with plenty of options, including brilliant vegetarian picks and those tempting specials like Pie Night or Friday fish and chips, all at prices that won't break the bank. It's clear they put heart into their ales and drinks too, offering a solid range that's spot on for a casual catch-up. On the downside, the hours can be a tad unpredictable, so you might find yourself planning around that, and its rural spot means it's not the most convenient for everyone, but that's part of what gives it that authentic, hidden-gem feel. All in all, if you're after a proper pub experience with good grub and a friendly crowd, it's well worth a visit – I'd say pop in and see for yourself!

They've got a splendid selection of fine ales, wines, and spirits at reasonable prices, perfect for enjoying a proper pint or a glass of something nice.
Cons
-
The operating hours can be a bit confusing or limited, especially for food service, so it's worth checking ahead to avoid disappointment.

Such a hidden gem for a great meal! Brilliant vegetarian options too.
Always a warm, friendly welcome. Food Always delicious and hot, our favourite place to eat.
What a lovely hot meal we had at the Robin. Could not fault it, the choice of meat was excellent good choice of vegetables. Pipping hot. Lovely pudding, Husband loved his cheese and biscuits as not many places does that. Will be back.
Been twice now, young waitresses really pleasant and helpful. The food is well cooked and well presented, it's clearly home made by the taste . Hubby drinks Guinness, says it was a lovely pint , mine a pleasant zinfandel. Pricing very reasonable they have specials night which are cheaper. They were very accommodating when we wanted a mix of things not shown on menu. Wasnt sure about veg options which would matter to some family members but not us, steak was lovely. Definitely going again 😀
