The team there, Ann and Dave, are absolute stars – they're so welcoming and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in, which is just what you want after a long day. They've nailed the sports side of things too, with Sky Sports on the telly and a buzzing crowd for match days, plus they throw in some brilliant events like the Easter Sunday bash with a tombola and live music, or that festive breakfast with Santa that sounds like a right laugh for the kids. It's all about that community spirit, where you can settle in with a pint and chat away. On the flip side, though, the food doesn't seem to go beyond basic pub fare and event offerings, so if you're hoping for something more adventurous, you might be out of luck. And with the place not kicking off until 4pm on Mondays, it's not ideal for a midday meet-up.
