About This Pub

Ah, the Prince of Teck – it's one of those reliable spots in Earls Court that I've heard mates rave about, and from what I've seen, it lives up to the buzz. Picture this: you're popping in after a day out, and the staff greet you with that genuine warmth that makes you feel like a regular straight away. The beer selection is spot on, especially if you're a fan of IPAs or want to try something new, and they've got cracking deals on cocktails that make it easy to enjoy a few without breaking the bank. Food-wise, it's mostly a winner – think hearty breakfasts or a massive fish and chips that could feed two – and it's ace for catching the latest sports action on the telly without the place turning into a madhouse. On the flip side, though, some dishes like the chicken portions might feel a bit stingy, and the pizza isn't anything to write home about, so maybe skip that if you're after something exceptional. All in all, it's a solid choice for a casual get-together or a quick pint; I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as the positives far outweigh the minor niggles, and you'll likely leave with a smile.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
  • They've got a fantastic selection of beers, especially if you're into IPAs, with plenty of options to suit different tastes.
  • Great value for money with loads of deals like 2 for 1 cocktails and bottomless brunch, perfect for a budget-friendly night out.
  • The food hits the spot, with standout dishes like a massive portion of fish and chips and solid breakfasts that leave you satisfied.
  • It's a brilliant spot for watching live sport on the TVs, with a relaxed atmosphere that's not too noisy, so you can actually chat.
Cons
  • Some portions can be a tad on the small side, like the chicken in one meal, which might leave you wanting a bit more.
  • Not every dish is a winner; the pizza was described as just average, so it might not be the best choice on the menu.

I was down last week with my son to attend a show at the Albert Hall. The Prince was the first pub we came across, so decided to pop in. We are both IPA fans and this pub didn't disappoint. We also decided to back again on our return journey to Scotland. Oh, the staff were extremely friendly too.

Just had breakfast here. It was great. Excellent service from Tom. Very good value for money. Everything was just right. Definitely recommend. Also had various sports channels on the TVs. I'd definitely go back.

Highly recommended, largely because of the uncommonly friendly and helpful staff. Has a bit of an ambience but without the music being really loud. Enjoyed lunch which scored just the four stars only because of a slightly stingy portion of the chicken, but nothing whatsoever wrong with the quality. :-)

We went here and had a nice time. Drinks were reasonable and there were lots of deals on which was great. The portobello London pilsner was a nice beer. We went for the beef burger and fries which was nice and the Mac and cheese which was decent too. Service was good throughout aswell There is a massive menu so plenty to choose from

Decent prices, amazing food and excellent beer and spirit selection. The fish and chips was HUGE and it was so excellent. The pizza was average. Lots of locals. Fun decorations I am guessing for the King's Cornation. Would 100% recommend. Tons of seating and tv's for watching different events.
