About This Pub

Ah, the Courtfield – it's one of those classic London pubs that just feels like a proper hideaway in bustling Earls Court. I've got to say, stepping inside is like taking a trip back in time with its ornate decor and that inviting beer garden, perfect for soaking up the sun with a real ale in hand. The food's a standout; whether it's a generous Full English or some straightforward pub favourites, it's all done just right and won't break the bank. And let's not forget the buzz around live sports – grabbing a table for events like the Women's Euros sounds like a laugh, especially with the family-friendly setup and perks like being dog-friendly. But, fair's fair, it's not all roses; I've heard a few tales of service hiccups, like mix-ups with orders or staff who might not be on their best form, which could leave you a bit frustrated. Overall, though, with a solid 4.2 rating from the crowd, it's a gem worth trying – just go in with an open mind and you'll likely have a top-notch time catching up with mates over a drink.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The service is generally spot-on, with friendly staff like Manosh who make you feel right at home – it's that warm welcome that keeps you coming back.
  • The food is a real treat; think perfectly cooked Full English breakfasts and classic pub grub that's generous on portions and hits the spot, especially for a hearty meal before catching a show.
  • It's got that authentic 19th-century charm with an ornate interior and a lovely beer garden, making it a brilliant spot for a relaxed pint or watching live sports like the Women's Euros.
  • Family-friendly vibes mean it's welcoming for all ages, plus it's dog-friendly and has great facilities like Sky Sports and WiFi, so you can settle in comfortably.
Cons
  • Service can be inconsistent at times, with a few reports of mistakes like getting the wrong drink or feeling a bit picked on, which puts a damper on the experience.
  • While most visits are positive, there are occasional grumbles about certain staff members not being as attentive, so it might not always live up to the hype if you're unlucky.

We wandered in here hours after arriving from San Diego, CA, USA, and loved the food and friendly stylish ambience.

Very poor customer service. I am a regular because I am living in the area and they are always picking on people, specially the tall waiter with curly hair. Few weeks ago he made a mistake with my wine and serve single instead double I asked and when I asked him he told me that he put the single because I asked for a double wine instead asked for a large… looks like he is being funny…. And today , I came and ask for a pint at 9:57 , they charge me and after paid, they told me that they can’t serve me as they do after 10:00. My question is…why they charge me if they can’t serve???? In the top of that, the manager came, he didn’t even listen me and when I said “ I will never back to this place” his answer was “ good”. They are so happy loosing customers , that’s fine. There are lots of pubs in London . Plus, it’s always dirty, toilets are disgusting and tables sticky. I remember this place full of people and now is dead… I understand why. Never back in my life.

I recently tried the Full English breakfast at this spot during a walk, and I was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the portion size was generous for the price. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would definitely eat here again. Let me know if you'd like any further changes!
