About This Pub

Oh, let me tell you about The Plough Inn – it's one of those places that just warms your heart the moment you step inside. Tucked away in Ealing, it's got this lovely country feel with smart décor that makes it feel fresh and inviting, ideal for a relaxed afternoon or a lively evening out. The food is where it truly shines; I've heard such rave reviews about their seasonal dishes, like the incredible roast beef and porchetta, all made with fresh ingredients that make every bite feel special. And the service? Well, it's spot on – the team, from the landlord to the servers, are so attentive and friendly, ensuring everything runs smoothly, whether you're popping in for a quick drink or booking for a family gathering. It's particularly great for events, with options for private rooms that cater to all sorts of occasions. On the flip side, it does get packed, especially on Sundays, so you might find yourself needing to book ahead to avoid disappointment. Plus, with the moderate prices, it could add up if you're planning a regular visit, but honestly, for the quality and atmosphere, it's money well spent. All in all, if you're after a proper pub experience with a bit of flair, this one's a winner – I'd say give it a go and see for yourself!

  • They handle events brilliantly, from birthdays to business meetings, with options for private hire that make it easy to celebrate in style.
Cons

  • With moderate prices, it might feel a tad pricey for a quick midweek stop, though it's well worth it for a proper treat.

Fantastic Father’s Day here. The roast beef was amazing and great portions, service was excellent and the landlord was brilliant. Overall vibe was great and great that the father got a free drink as part of the Father’s Day booking. Huge thanks to all the staff

Our go to for Sunday roast in Ealing. A warm and friendly pub with attentive service - especially Emily who has been so lovely each time we've visited, including with a very large group. The porchetta and fish and chips are both excellent, and we love that they do a mini dessert with a hot drink for £6 - ideal when you want a bite of something sweet after a hearty meal.

Myself and a few friends had dinner at The Plough Inn last week. We were welcomed by a very friendly team and seated quickly. Both food and drinks arrived in good time. Starters were very nice but the red wine and steak stole the show! I shall certainly be re-visiting when in the area next.

We booked a table for a small family gathering... we got caught in traffic but pub was good enough not to rush orders or anything do that all of group could arrive. The pub has a small car park just to the right (if facing pub) and thankfully there was a space when we arrived! We were seated and had drinks fairly swiftly, and got food ordered. Starters didn't take long, and there was a short period before mains arrived (although when they did arrive the starters plates etc. hadn't been taken away). We also managed to get a few deserts in before the kitchen closed. Food was really nice and there were lots of clear plates, including from the kids! The desert menu wasn't to everyone's taste, but to be fair most of the group was pretty full from the starters / mains! The pub itself is nicely set, tidy and clean. We all enjoyed our meal and would certainly visit again - the cost isn't the cheapest (and kids meals worked out fairly pricey in comparison to some places we have visited) but as above - we did like it!
