About This Pub

Ah, Ryan's – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a good old catch-up with mates. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are absolute stars; they're polite, quick to serve, and they even remember what you like, which makes you feel like a regular from day one. The food's a standout too, especially their Thai dishes that folks rave about as being proper authentic and wallet-friendly, with speedy kitchen service to boot. Pair that with a lively atmosphere full of live music, a nice garden for when the weather's playing ball, and plenty of screens for the footie, and you've got yourself a proper inviting spot. On the flip side, it's tucked away on a busy road, so there might be a bit of outside noise that could spoil the mood if you're after something more peaceful. Plus, their online setup is pretty minimal – just an Instagram page – which means you might have to wing it a bit when looking up details. All in all, it's a solid choice for us pub lovers, with heaps of positives that outweigh the minor niggles, and I'd say it's well worth a visit for a pint and a chat.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and always remember your favourites, making you feel right at home every time you pop in.
  • They serve up some cracking Thai food that's totally authentic and reasonably priced, with lunch deals that are an absolute bargain.
  • The atmosphere is spot on – think live music, a cosy garden for a breather, and screens for catching the big sports events.
  • Drinks are top-notch with a good variety, and the service is quick and efficient, whether you're grabbing a pint or a bite.
  • It's an affordable spot with great value, perfect for a casual night out without breaking the bank.
Cons
  • The online presence is a bit basic, just an Instagram page, so it's not the easiest to find detailed info before you visit.
  • Being on a busy road, it can get a tad noisy from the outside hustle, which might not suit those after a super quiet pint.
  • The operating hours seem to vary a little on Sundays, which could be confusing if you're planning a visit around that.

Excellent pub. Friendly staff; not too big not too small; good quality price ratio, good variety of drinks, Thai food available due to partnership with another business; nice little garden. Screens for watching manly sports events. Great option in a busy road. They do the best with what the have. Definitely recommended 👌.
