About This Pub
Oh, what a gem The Plough is, tucked away in Blundeston – it's got that real homely feel, like stepping into a page from a Dickens novel, which adds a bit of history to your pint. From the reviews, everyone's raving about the food; those roast dinners and pies are proper tasty with generous portions, and it's clear folks keep coming back for more. The service stands out too – the team are quick, polite, and go the extra mile, as one person shared when they needed help in a hurry. It's a welcoming spot with a nice mix of drinks and that warm, fireside charm that makes it ideal for catching up with mates or even bringing the dog along. On the flip side, it's so popular that you might have to plan ahead with a booking, and the food timings aren't all day, so it's worth checking before you head out. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed meal or a quiet drink, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area – just go with an open mind and enjoy the good bits!

We had a promotional meal during November and so glad we went! We’ll surely be going again. Thanks for the lovely service and roast dinner.
Never disappoints at the Plough. Been here many times for dinner.
Today I had the festive menu, went for the turkey, was £18, but very tasty and decent portion size.
Service was quick and polite and friendly.

Went for sticky toffee pudding dessert also was lovely.
Will be back again soon.
This is a lovely place. Went for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. Service was excellent and the pub had a lovely feel to it. The roasts were perfect and plentiful, one had fish and chips and the fish was huge and very nice too. Wish it was my local! Will definitely visit again.
We were at the Plough last night and my sister had a hypo so we had to ask for an orange juice and our food to be served quick. The lovely waitress helped us out with this so we are very grateful. The staff were attentive all night, the food was lovely as was the atmosphere. Being a group of 7 it was lovely to have an oval table so we could all talk to each other. All in all we had a lovely time. Thank you to all concerned.would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Amazing food. The beef and ale pie and onion rings were out of this world.
Friendly staff. Dog friendly.
