About This Pub

Ah, let me tell you about the Harvester Potters Kiln in Lowestoft – it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a relaxed meal with the family or mates. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is spot on; that rotisserie chicken and the unlimited salad bar are absolute winners, with folks raving about the flavours and how it's all served up piping hot with generous portions. The staff really shine too, being super friendly and attentive, which makes it ideal for celebrations or just a casual get-together – I can imagine popping in for a birthday and feeling right at home. Plus, it's got all the practical perks like free parking and a nice garden area, making it a breeze to visit after a day exploring nearby spots. On the flip side, it's not without its little niggles; a few people mentioned the menu doesn't offer much variety, so if you're in the mood for something a bit more adventurous, you might find yourself wanting more options. And with it getting busy at times, like on Mother's Day, things can feel a tad hectic, but they still manage to keep the service speedy. Overall, it's a solid choice for good, honest food at a fair price – I'd say give it a go if you're after a reliable spot for a bite, but keep in mind it's best for those classic pub grub vibes rather than anything fancy.

Hi we booked the Potter's Kiln for dinner today for 12 of us for my grandson's birthday. Food was very tasty and we were served quickly - my grandson particularly liked the salad bar (he loves olives) and the roast chicken! Excellent sized portions and nice and hot. We had a Harvester club voucher too so excellent value for money. Will definitely be back again!

I visited Harvester to celebrate my boyfriend's first paycheck from his new job, and I must say, the experience was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious so is the salad bar. However, I do wish there was a bit more variety on the menu. Aside from that, Harvester truly exceeded my expectations!

We visited this place to celebrate my first paycheck. I love the unlimited fizzy drinks, and the food was really nice. I particularly enjoyed the mini brownie and hot chocolate. Our waiter, Chrissy, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She gave us plenty of time to choose our drinks and food, and she did an amazing job.

The food was so good, the salad bar had lots of variety and was kept very clean and the atmosphere was lovely. We went on Mother’s Day so it was very busy but still got our food very quickly but the food didn’t look rushed, it was presented very well. Our server Ariel was very lovely, she made us feel welcome and didn’t rush us at all. All round amazing service.

Had a wonderful meal at the Harvester recently. Even though I was by myself, the staff still looked after me very well. I was served in a reasonable time, and the food was piping hot and delicious! Had the corn bread for starters. New item, so thought I'd give it a go. Really really good! Did accidentally eat one of the chillis (I can't handle spice) and one of the waitresses very kindly grabbed me some water, as they could tell I was struggling. Had the Barbacoa burger for main. Again, really tasty, and very filling! Had the choux bun for dessert. Would have liked a bit more sauce on the plate to help cut through the sweetness, but I can't complain too much as it was great, and that is just a personal preference. I spoke to a few members of staff in the visit, and all were great! I believe I was treated and initially served by Jodie, who was lovely. I think her name was Penny. She helped me through my spice incident and a literal life saver! Lastly, I was served by Chrissy, who was one of the friendliest, most polite, and funniest servers I have ever seen, and was an all round joy to speak too! Couldn't recommend these staff any more. Overall, had a really positive experience, and would recommend and go again. Not just the food, but also the staff.
