Thought we'll make a change and go for a curry instead. of a Christmas dinner with some of the ladies from work, so we decided to go to the Pear Tree Tavern. We all had starters and main meals, which we all thoroughly enjoyed.Some of the ladies has never been to the Pear Tree Tavern, but by the end of the evening, they all said they would return and also tell all their friends about how good the food was,also the service was excellent,they could not do enough for us very polite and very helpful.The meals came out very quick. We'll definitely return in the New Year.

a great little find, a non pretentious bar and grill, not trying to be above it's station. good selection of beers and spirits to choose from. typical selection of desi grill menu items, all cooked fresh, and brought out sizzling

The food here is the best I have experienced. Indian mixed grill served on a hot Skillet is amazing and accompanied with masala chips and a salad. 8 of us had 3 grills as a shared starter. We then ordered a variety of currys and naan breads for our mains. Totally delicious. The bar service was excellent and the owners were inviting and friendly. This IS on my return list for sure! Do not be discouraged by looking at the building as the package within discounts this and is well worth a visit.. My score is based on my experience and I do use the full scale. This is worthy of my 5's. 😊

First visit on Sunday with the family, friendly service and nice atmosphere. Food was on par with mixed grill we normally have In Birmingham. Will visit again soon !

Never disappoint with the quality of food or service, the price ain't bad either! The mix grill platter is a must, the desi curry is equally as delightful! Must not forget the garlic cheese naan, most scrumptious! Just beware it is somewhat noisy being a kids friendly pub, for some it's not Ideal.
