About This Pub
You know, when I think about The Old Olive Bush, it really stands out as one of those hidden gems in Rugby that makes you feel like you've stumbled upon a proper local favourite. The atmosphere is just spot on – imagine a cosy fire crackling away and everyone chatting away like old mates. The food is a real highlight; I've heard brilliant things about their steak pies and Sunday lunches, all served up at a fair price that won't break the bank. It's especially nice if you're near the canals or just after a relaxed spot for a pint. The landlady is a star, always cheerful and ready for a chat, which adds to that homely feel. But, to be honest, it's not all perfect – she runs the show solo, so if it's a busy night, things can drag a bit with waits for service. Still, with so many folks raving about it, I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area, just maybe plan ahead and go when it's not too hectic. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good night out with friends.

Fantastic little find. We were on a boating holiday on the canals. Read the reviews knew the there might be a wait. But presently surprised warm welcome quick
Service delicious food great atmosphere very busy and friendly people in there. Would highly recommend.
The landlady runs the bar and kitchen without any staff, this inevitably causes delays.
Whilst she is very bubbly and happy to chat the delays are really unacceptable.
Played Skittles here a few weeks ago. Bar lady/landlady was very polite and done some fab food. Goats' milk ale was really nice. The atmosphere was great. What an all-around lovely pub.
Great place for a meal, short walk from the canal. Linda was a fantastic host. Meal was excellent steak pie chips and veg. Fish pie was very nice as well.
One of Warwickshire's little gems, hiding in Flecknoe, lovely welcoming fire and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed a well priced Sunday lunch today. Well worth a visit, not far from Daventry Road A425 and if you have one, dog friendly.
