About This Pub
Ah, The Looking Glass in Warrington – it's one of those pubs that feels like a proper local haunt, you know? I reckon it's a solid choice if you're after something straightforward and easy on the wallet, especially for breakfast. From what I've seen, the grub is a real highlight; folks rave about the big portions and how you can get a cracking English breakfast for just £6.50, which is an absolute bargain these days. The menu's got a nice range too, with plenty of options for those who fancy something veggie, and it's generally tasty enough to keep you coming back. Plus, the staff can be quite chummy, making you feel right at home. But, let's be honest, it's not without its flaws. Some mates have mentioned dodgy service, like food turning up without the extras you paid for or cutlery just getting flung on the table – not the warmest welcome. And the place does have that worn-in feel, with sticky surfaces and a bit of a musty atmosphere that screams for a bit of TLC. If you're up for a casual pint or a quick bite and don't mind overlooking the rough patches, it's worth popping in. Overall, it's got charm in spades for what it is, but you'd want to go in with realistic expectations to avoid any letdowns.

Terrible service. When the food came the cutlery was chucked onto the table. Food came without the extras I paid for. Asked for condiments and they said they'd bring them over to the table in a sec only for them never to come over. Could be cos I'm a scouser which is fair play 🤣
Great breakfast and good prices,we had a large and a traditional breakfast,it cost under £12 for everything.
The full English breakfast was great. The staff were nice. The inside decore and furniture were grim. The floor and menus and table tips were sticky. It was OK.
A traditional English pub, with the classic smell of stale beer throughout. Somewhat dark and drab aesthetic. Could do with a revamp. Although the service was fine and the food pretty decent. A vast array of choices on the food menu with good vegetarian options.
The big TVs were showing tennis to the contentment of the loud sports fans.
A large English breakfast for £6.50? YES please. That's enough for 2 people. If you miss the breakfast till 11:30 you should get the mix grill. Definitely worth it. And is better than was on weatherspoons franchise. I recommend 👌
