About This Pub

Oh, The Kings Arms – it's one of those gems in Salford that really captures the heart of a proper pub experience, you know? From the moment you step in, you're greeted with this inviting atmosphere, packed with a brilliant array of beers and ciders, including their own craft ale that's light, fruity, and perfect for a relaxed session. The staff are generally lovely and helpful, making it feel like you're chatting with mates behind the bar, and the cosy interior with its snug spots and outdoor garden is just spot on for whiling away an afternoon or evening. Then there's the upstairs scene, with award-winning theatre, music gigs, and all sorts of events that give it an extra edge – it's not just about the pints, it's about the buzz. But, to keep it real, there are a few downsides; the bar service can be hit or miss, with some folks mentioning it feels a tad disinterested at times, and the bathrooms definitely need a bit of an upgrade to match the rest. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a good night in Manchester – the positives far outweigh the quirks, and I'd say it's well worth popping in for a pint and a laugh.

One of the best pubs in Manchester! Has a wide variety of beers and ciders to choose from, the staff are incredibly friendly, the interior is very cosy and beautiful and it also has a cute little beer garden for the sunny days as well as an upstairs floor is usually hosting some kind of event! We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back! 10/10

Came across this pub when trying to find somewhere to enjoy a bit of craic on a Sat night. Was close to the hotel so figured we'd give it a go. It was busy and there was a comedy night upstairs. Everyone was very friendly and the prices were great. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because I had to go online and create an account to buy tickets to go into the comedy show even tho I was there - they had no way of taking money from us directly; and the ladies wcs were very compact and doors insecure. But we had a fab evening !!

Came here as Fresh Meat (Channel 4 show) was filmed here! Staff were very friendly and helpful! Had a few drinks very reasonably priced before going for dinner 🥰

Good small cozy theater for local theater projects! Went for a play here and would like to go back for more. However bar staff could be better with customer service. Felt like they didn't care about the orders and they were too busy talking to their friends. Bathrooms are horrible.

Great traditional pub with a good range of drinks. Friendly staff & a warm atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit for a couple beers. I've not been in while the live music has been on but can imagine this would be a brilliant venue. I will be calling in again very soon.
