About This Pub

Ah, the Eagle Inn – what a gem it is in Salford! I've got to say, it's one of those places that just pulls you in with its warm, welcoming atmosphere and that brilliant live music setup. From what I've gathered from folks' chats, the sound quality is spot on for those intimate gigs, making it a fantastic spot for discovering new bands or just enjoying a night out with mates. The staff really shine through too; they're proper friendly, like that Chloe everyone's raving about, always ready with a smile and a well-poured pint. It's got all the charm of a traditional boozer with a modern edge, including outdoor seating for a bit of fresh air when the weather plays ball, and it's wallet-friendly, which is always a plus for a casual evening. On the flip side, though, it's a cosy space, so it can feel a tad crowded during busier events, and the hours might cut short your plans on quieter days. Still, with its location in a buzzing, up-and-coming area, it's worth a visit for anyone keen on good tunes, decent drinks, and that genuine pub feel – I'd say it's a must for music enthusiasts looking for something a bit special in Greater Manchester.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The live music scene is absolutely brilliant – it's a top-notch spot for catching up-and-coming bands with fantastic sound quality that really gets you in the mood.
  • The staff are an absolute delight; they're warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • It's got that classic traditional pub vibe with a fresh twist, offering a cosy atmosphere, great selection of drinks, and even outdoor seating for when the sun decides to show up.
  • Prices are spot on for a good night out – it's inexpensive without skimping on quality, so you can enjoy a pint or two without breaking the bank.
  • They've got rehearsal rooms upstairs, which is a clever touch for musicians, and it all ties in nicely with the pub's lively spirit.
Cons
  • The venue is on the smaller side, so it can get a bit packed during gigs, which might not suit everyone if you're after more space to spread out.
  • Opening hours vary a touch and wrap up earlier on some days, which could be a shame if you're hoping for a late-night session.
  • Being in a redeveloping area, there might be the odd bit of disruption or noise from surrounding changes, though it's still holding strong as a local gem.

Really nice traditional holts pub. A lot of re development going on around it, but still going strong. Nice staff and large area at the front of the pub for when the sun comes out. Well worth a visit.

Lli was lucky enough to be a patron of this amazing pub, best in Manchester by far. Great beer, staff & ambience. The Eagle inn is a "must visit" stop on any visit to Manchester. Easy to find too. 💯 Recomended & an easy 5 🤩

Love it! Small but perfectly formed. Old style boozer with a twist. The cute live venue attached is perfect for an intimate style gig. The bar has a good selection of drinks, staff lovely, board games available in the lounge, outside seating when the Salford weather allows. I love the vibe and the aesthetic too. It's all being built up in the surrounding area, with glass towers and apartment blocks and then this little gem in the middle. Just brilliant
