Ah, The Hop Station – what a lovely find it is, tucked away just outside Aldridge. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really shines with its top-quality real ales; they're fresh, varied, and honestly some of the best you'll come across locally. It's got that warm, community feel that makes you want to settle in for the evening, and the reviews make it sound like a proper gem for anyone who appreciates a good pint. On the flip side, though, it can get a tad overwhelming when it's packed – the noise bounces around, and you might struggle to hear your pals over the chatter. Still, it's all part of the charm, and I'd say it's well worth popping by, especially if you're after a solid beer experience without the fuss. All in all, it's a solid choice for us lot who enjoy a proper pub outing, with the highs outweighing the minor niggles.

You might have to get lucky to find your absolute favourite beer, as the variety depends on what's on tap that day.

The Hop Station is truly fantastic... A proper little gem just outside of Aldridge, technically it's located in Lazy Hill so is a short walk out of Aldridge centre.
The quality of the beer (Real Ale) here is genuinely second to non and IMHO is probably the best kept beer and freshest beer in the Walsall area, it is also most importantly fairly priced.
The staff are top notch and the owner Trevor & his wife always have a smile and fantastic welcome. The pub has nice decor and clearly a lot of thought has gone into putting together a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
The service is excellent and the atmosphere is great, nice people and a nice place.
...in addition to my earlier review. The quality & variety of beer is undiminished. You have to drop lucky for a real favourite.
When crowded, as it was just before Christmas, the hard floor and ceiling can reflect sound and the conversational noise rises imperceptibly so that it's difficult to hear conversation at your own table.
What a great little place! Brilliant selection of beers, had a great Belgian cherry beer and a ham cob. Hope it does well
A quick stop to check out this new micropub on the way home. Smart looking place, good selection of ales and looks like it had the potential to have a good atmosphere when filled with the local community.
Great new addition to the Aldridge real ale scene. 5 handpulls with an excellent range of beers. We had Ludlow Gold. We will definitely be back.
