About This Pub
Ah, The Hare On The Hill – what a gem of a pub it is, tucked away in Bristol with that genuine local feel that just draws you in. From what I've gathered from folks' chats, it's all about the brilliant real ales that hit the spot without breaking the bank, and the staff are just lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels welcome. There's a real buzz with things like quiz nights and a dartboard for a bit of friendly competition, and being near a Banksy piece gives it an extra touch of character that makes it stand out. On the flip side, it's a shame they don't do food themselves, so you might end up with a delivery on the way, and it can get quite lively on weekends, which isn't for everyone if you're after a quiet corner. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening – I'd say pop in if you're in the area, but do check those opening times to avoid any disappointment.

Cons

Opening hours tend to kick off around teatime, which could be a downside if you're hoping for an early pint.

This is a brilliant neighbourhood boozer. If I lived in Bristol it would be my local.
Fantastic well kept real ale sensible prices.
We visited late on a Saturday evening and the place was full. Always a good sign.
Lovely boozer located right next to a Banksy painting (flower in mousetrap or it could be called rat trap not sure) served me some lovely ale and it was my first pub on my first visit to Bristol which was a great first impression.. the music set a lovely tone and the decor was great too. Would definitely recommend and return

We absolutely love this pub, our favourite in Bristol. There’s such a unique atmosphere with lovely friendly staff and well priced drinks. Also super fun to play darts!!!
This pub shares a wall with my husband’s childhood home, so it’s always a nostalgic stop on the tour when we come to Bristol to visit family. Really love what they’ve done with the place, lots of good decorations and a fun vibe.
