About This Pub
Ah, The Bell – what a spot it is in Bristol! From the reviews I've had a peek at, it's got this infectious energy that's just spot on for a good night out. Everyone's raving about the burgers, which are apparently the stuff of legends, and the drinks are cheap enough to keep the fun going without breaking the bank. The staff sound like absolute stars, always up for a chat and making sure you're looked after, while the courtyard is a brilliant little hideaway with heaters for those chillier evenings. It's clear this place is a hit for music lovers and those after a relaxed yet lively scene, with events that really get the crowd going. On the flip side, though, the website's a bit of a letdown – it didn't load for me, so you might need to rely on a quick call or a visit to sort out the details. And let's be honest, it's not everyone's cup of tea; if you prefer something a bit more refined, you might find it a tad too casual or rowdy. All in all, if you're up for some genuine Bristol charm and a place where the good times roll, I'd say give The Bell a go – you won't regret it!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing – it's a real social hub with cool vibes, great music, and a laid-back feel that makes you want to stay for hours.
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile and making everyone feel right at home.
-
You've got some cracking food options, like the best burgers in memory, and it's all good value for money with cheap drinks that keep the night affordable.
-
There's a lovely courtyard with plenty of seating and patio heaters, perfect for enjoying a pint outdoors, especially on those milder Bristol evenings.
-
It's a proper old-school pub with exciting events and music nights that bring a unique energy – if you love a bit of excitement, this is your spot.
Cons
-
The website seems a bit unreliable; it timed out when I tried to check it, so you might have to pop in or call ahead for the latest info.
-
The operating hours look a tad confusing with multiple listings for Sundays, which could leave you scratching your head about when it's actually open.
-
It might not suit everyone – from what folks say, it's more for the local crowd who enjoy a lively, no-frills vibe, so if you're after something posher, you might feel out of place.

A very cool pub just off turbo island. Cool music, laid-back and no frills type vibe. Yet to go to an event here but I'm sure it's good fun

Finally got the chance to come to the magical place!Proper old school pub vibes with the Bristol vibe.
Not everyone's musical cup of tea, but they sure now how to host! Plenty of seating, awesome little courtyard with lots of patio heaters.
Didn't get the chance to try any food but plenty of good things have been said 😁
Wow… just wow words don’t describe this mind blowing pub. Greeted with a smile from the boys that lights up the place, and delicious cold tasty pints on tap. The garden is an endless adventure of quirky characters and the music nights have a vibe like you have never seen before. Could not recommend more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
