About This Pub
You know, chatting about The Half Moon Inn, it's one of those places that really hits the mark for a relaxed pint or a hearty meal – the team there are so attentive and make everything feel effortless, and the food is genuinely top drawer, with fresh creations from their talented chefs that leave you wanting more. It's got that classic pub charm with a lovely garden and even rooms for overnight stays, which are handy if you're exploring the area. On the flip side, a few folks have mentioned the beds aren't always as plush as they could be, and the bathrooms feel a tad compact, so it might not suit everyone for a proper getaway. All in all, it's a solid choice for good times and great value, but I'd say keep those little details in mind if you're planning a visit – it's all about balancing the brilliant bits with the odd quirk to get the full picture.

-
There have been a few niggles with things like wobbly tables that don't always get sorted out as quickly as you'd hope.

The staff were very friendly. The room was nice, just across the car park from the pub. The bed was very comfortable and was very quiet. The bathroom was small but did the job! Breakfast was good! The location of this venue is great, local enough for visiting family in morpeth and Bedlington! Thank you!
Lovely restaurant nice staff food was very tasty, only thing I'd say I wasn't happy with is the bed and pillow's, pillow's had no support bed wasn't comfy but was nice wee place and staff were friendly.
What a great place for a bit of scran. I was starving as I had just come out of a Secure Mental Health Unit and food was terrible. So lucky to have found this place. I got very excited and emotional when was in this beautiful pub. May many more people enjoy like I did. May the Good Lord be blessed
Went for my husband birthday, got our table straight away which was wobbly, told the waitress straight away, she said give me a minute she never came back told the guy that brought our drinks he said that there was nothing he could do then came with beer mats to rectify the problem we said it was the table top not the feet, the went back to say nothing he could do. It was very cold no heating on. The food was good but the attitude of the staff towards or request for out comfort was not acceptable.
Excellent food and service. I would highly recommend giving this place a try if in the area, the food is really good, I had a Yorkshire wrap which was amazing, as were the festive burgers that my family opted for. The pub is welcoming and cosy and really good service.
