About This Pub
You know, I have to say, The Cherry Tree in Stakeford really won me over with its homely feel and that genuine community spirit – it's just like popping into your local for a chat and a bite. The food is spot on, all home-cooked and served up seven days a week, with daily specials that folks can't stop raving about, and it's all at prices that won't leave you out of pocket. I love how welcoming the staff are; they're always up for a laugh and happy to help, whether it's sorting out a table or accommodating something special like a family gathering. Plus, being pet-friendly means you can bring the dog along after a riverside stroll, and the beer garden is an absolute treat on sunny days. They've got live sports on the telly and fun nights like quizzes or prize draws, which make it a brilliant spot for a relaxed evening or catching up with mates. On the downside, it does fill up quickly when there's an event on, so you might end up waiting for a seat, and those Sunday hours can be a tad inconsistent, which is a minor niggle but something to keep in mind. All in all, it's a proper gem for anyone after good grub, a pint, and a bit of craic without the fuss.

Great food at fair prices, been for dinner and for band nights. Enjoyed a nice busy but friendly local pub plenty of parking for those with a designated driver coming from a little further away but also on a bus route too.
Had a lovely meal here today will definitely be coming again
Service is spot on, food is excellent and all reasonably priced! 100% recommend
My favourite pub ever , new owners are lovely as are all the staff, they're always happy to help , They opened an hour early for my brothers wake (upon request)and they we're all so fantastic, I couldn't thank them all enough, anyway they do the best freshly cooked nosh ever too, perfect beer garden in summer, large pool room with dart board and sunlit conservatory, can go alone and will be made very welcome, the toilets are spotlessly clean and smell so nice too, very family friendly, kids are always welcome , from a quick drink in the afternoon to Sunday lunch with all the family this is the place to go, check for yourself you won't be disapointed 😁
Haven't been here in over 30 years and it's now my favourite place. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was amazing
