About This Pub
So, let me tell you about the Ashington & District Comrades Social Club – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper hideaway for a good time with mates. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the atmosphere is spot on, with that classic, welcoming feel where you can chat with the locals and soak in the community spirit. They've got some brilliant events lined up, like the Tina Turner tribute night or bingo sessions with decent prizes, and the beers are always flowing nicely. The function room upstairs is massive and kept really tidy, making it ideal for a big night out or even something like a boxing show. On the downside, though, parking's a bit of a nightmare in the area, which could put a dampener on things if you're driving over. Plus, without a website or clear opening times, it's not the easiest to plan a visit, and that uncertainty might leave you scratching your head. All in all, if you're after an honest, down-to-earth venue with plenty of heart, it's worth checking out, but do keep those practical bits in mind for a smoother experience.

Amazing Night Out And Great Beers 🍺Too!!!
Attended the Newbiggin boxing club home show. Absolutely loved the club - great size and vibe. Parking around it is difficult- but the facility is huge and well loved.
If you want the full working man's club experience, never changed in years, go here. I mean that in a good way. Bar full of canny locals, huge 300 capacity room with stage upstairs. All clean and well presented .
