About This Pub
Ah, the Pigeon & Whippet – it's one of those hidden gems that sounds like a proper treat if you're after a laid-back evening. From what I've gathered from the chats online, the staff are absolute stars, always up for a chat and making everyone feel welcome, which really sets the tone for a great night. The prices are spot on too, nothing extravagant, so you can enjoy a pint or two without worrying about the wallet. They've spruced the place up nicely with clean, modern decor, and those little touches like the cinema room and pool tables make it stand out – imagine sinking a few games while catching up with friends. The drinks get a big thumbs up as well, especially that strong Czech lager that's been raved about. On the flip side, it's a bit disappointing to hear it's closed right now, and without any clear hours or a website to check, it's hard to plan ahead. Still, if it gets back on its feet, I'd say it's worth keeping an eye on for a solid, enjoyable spot that delivers on the fun without the fuss.

Great little pub. There were only two people in there besides the bar manager, a really intelligent local character, and an Eritrean guy, when I wandered in. I had the time of my life. Go there. You won't regret it.
