About This Pub
Ah, The Granary – what a charming spot it is, tucked away on the shores of Leith in Edinburgh. I have to say, from what I've gathered, it's one of those places that really hits the mark for a proper pub experience. The team there are just lovely, always ready with a smile and a bit of banter, which makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is a real highlight; their Sunday roasts and specials like haggis bon bons are cooked to perfection with generous servings that could easily sort you out for the day. And don't get me started on the drinks – a solid range of local brews and cocktails that pair brilliantly with the vibe. They've got fun events like quiz nights on Thursdays and live music over the weekends, which add that extra spark to keep things lively. On the other hand, it's a shame it's closed mid-week on Mondays and Tuesdays, so you'll need to plan your visits accordingly if you're keen for a pint. The hours can be a bit muddled online too, so it's wise to confirm before heading out. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for good grub and good times, though it might not suit if you're on a tight budget or after something more upscale. I'd definitely recommend giving it a go for a balanced, enjoyable evening out.

Came here for Sunday lunch and it was delicious.
We were seated immediately (arrived at 4:30pm).
The staff were lovely, and good chat.
Sunday roast was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly. Portion was brilliant! Just sad I didn’t have room for dessert.
I particularly enjoy the space due to the high windows which let a lot of natural light in.
Very friendly and excellent food. Local beer, desserts, coffee, and bar service. Daily soups and meal specials. Vegetarian haggis!
As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by a kind gentleman. He was very quick to get us our drinks. We loved the rustic atmosphere. The mojito was the best we have had in Scotland.
Sunday Roast beef was really tasty and a great portion too. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I went to The Granary for dinner, together with my mom and my sister. We had a great time.
