About This Pub
Ah, The Feathers in Aylesbury – what a gem for anyone looking for a proper pub experience. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, it's got this easy-going vibe that's perfect for unwinding with friends over a pint or two, especially with those unbeatable drink deals they've got on offer. The staff really shine through in the reviews; they're described as super helpful and always ready with a smile, which makes the place feel welcoming right from the off. If you're into sports, it's brilliant for watching live matches on the big screens, and the live DJs on Fridays and Saturdays add a fun twist for those who fancy a dance – though I have to say, that new DJ with the quirky name has folks coming back for more energetic nights out. They've nailed the family side too, with kid-friendly options until evening and tasty food that hits the spot, plus extras like an outside area and games to keep things lively. On the flip side, it does get heaving at times, so you might end up jostling for space, and if you're not up for a bit of noise or the prices feel a smidge high, it might not be your ideal spot every time. Overall, it's a solid choice for a good night in Aylesbury – honest, enjoyable, and with just the right mix of chill and excitement to suit most tastes.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always up for a chat and making you feel right at home.
-
It's got a brilliant atmosphere for watching live sports like football and rugby, with HD screens and even live DJs on weekends for a proper party vibe.
-
They've got great-value drink offers, especially in their summer range, making it easy on the wallet for a night out.
-
Family-friendly until about 8 pm, with options for kids, nice food like that chicken pie everyone's raving about, and fun games like pool and darts.
-
Plenty of space outside for a smoke or a breather, and it's got a cosy spot for just relaxing with mates over a pint.
Cons
-
It can get pretty packed on busy nights, especially with the live music and sports, so you might have to queue for a drink or struggle for a seat.
-
The music selection, while fun for some, might be a bit too loud or not everyone's cup of tea if you're after a quiet evening.
-
With moderate prices, it could feel a tad pricey if you're just popping in for a quick one, particularly compared to some other local spots.

Always a good night out and a nice day time as well all the staff are welcoming and friendly ,the food is always nice and hot they always server the food with good service not just with food and drinks they always have a talk n laugh with customers, the atmosphere and environment is amazing and never disappoints, I would also like to add the new food menu and the drinks are very good and I highly recommend trying them all
Looking for a fun and delicious spot for a quick bite or to relax and hang out with friends? Look no further! The host/bar tender was very accommodating of all of our needs and wants. The food was delicious and as described in the menu. I highly recommend the chicken pie! The space is filled with light from large windows, and there is partially covered outdoor seating. There are even slot machines and a pool table and a wide drinks menu if that is your scene. I would definitely come back!
