About This Pub

Ah, The Drop Kick, what a gem in Low Moor, Bradford – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local haunt, you know? From what I've gathered from folks' chats online, it's got this warm, inviting atmosphere that's spot on for sinking a pint or challenging your pals to a game of pool. The staff really stand out; they're not just serving drinks, they're lending a hand when you need it most, like in that heartwarming story where they helped someone with a broken-down car and a little one. Prices are fair too, so you won't break the bank for a decent beer. On the flip side, it can be a tad ordinary in service at times, and if you're after non-stop excitement, it might feel a bit mellow midweek before picking up on the weekends. All in all, it's a reliable spot that does the basics brilliantly and then some, making it worth a visit if you're in the area for a proper pub experience.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely brilliant – they're friendly, helpful, and go the extra mile, like when they helped out with a car breakdown and a baby in tow.
  • It's got a really welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed pint or a lively catch-up with mates.
  • Prices are spot on for a good pint, making it easy on the wallet without skimping on quality.
  • Spacious layout with a big games room, pool table, and even areas for parties – ideal for a quiet midweek game or weekend fun.
Cons
  • Service can sometimes feel a bit standard, without that extra spark you'd hope for on occasion.
  • It might be too quiet during the week for those after a buzzing crowd, though it livens up nicely on weekends.

Such friendly staff and locals! My car broke down just outside with baby in car the staff let me stay and keep little one warm, offered to heat bottles ect if needed and overall went above and beyond what they needed to do. Would highly recommend. Thank you

Very enjoyable visit to The Drop Kick. Quite a spacious pub. Big games room with a pool table and two TV screens . They also have big room where they do parties etc. I thought the beer prices were very reasonable too 👍 All in all, a pleasant couple of hours spent in there and hopefully going again soon.
