About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Crown – it's one of those pubs that just gets it right, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this fantastic community spirit where the staff and owners go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, whether you're popping in for a quick pint or settling in for lunch. The beer is always fresh and well-kept, and they've got a lovely selection of real ales that hit the spot. Plus, the atmosphere is spot on with a real fire for those chilly evenings and a beer garden for sunnier days – it's proper cosy without feeling stuffy. Folks have raved about the food too, with helpful recommendations and even some unexpected kindness like lending out wood for a houseboat. That said, it's not perfect; the operating hours look a tad muddled, which could catch you out if you're planning ahead, and without a website, it's a bit of a faff to get the lowdown online. Still, with an overall rating nudging 4.4, it's clear this place has a lot going for it, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area – just go with an open mind and enjoy the good vibes.

Food was great, service was brilliant, the lovely lady, who i suspect to be the manager, seated us by the fire! Recommended great dishes too! Thank you for a lovely lunch :)
