About This Pub
Ah, chatting about The Crooked Billet, it's one of those pubs that just warms your heart from the moment you step in. The staff and landlord are absolute gems, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels right at home, which really shines through in the reviews. The food's a standout too – think homemade delights and excellent beer that folks rave about, especially the Sunday roasts that come with all the trimmings. It's got that classic, old-school charm with a welcoming garden and play area, making it brilliant for families or just nipping in for a pint after work. They even throw in community events like classic car shows, which add a fun layer and bring people together. On the downside, though, their website's not up to scratch at the moment, so you might have to give them a ring or pop by to sort out the details. And being tucked away in a village, it could feel a tad quiet if you're in the mood for something more vibrant. All in all, it's a proper local spot that does the basics brilliantly and leaves you with a smile, but it's worth noting if you're after a bit more action.

Great little pub. Great staff, great landlord, and brilliant atmosphere.
Proud it's my local now.
Excellent, old school boozer, sadly one of the last remaining in this village. Great staff, exceptional food and beer, highly recommended.
We loved this place, four related families from different directions for a great family reunion. The food was delightfully homemade with fresh ingedients.
Free garden was wonderful with a great play area for the children.
Great pub, great landlord, great beer what more can I say.
There is a classic car show every Tuesday evening, weather permitting.
Had a great Sunday roast here. Staff were great, food was really nice and the price was pretty reasonable.
Liked that the veg was served in a separate dish to the meat, roast potatoes and Yorkshire. Also pleased with the massive pot of tea we were served.
Would definitely recommend this place 😁👍
