Old fashioned boozer with big choice of beer currently being used to film BBC drama THE CAGE with Sheridan Smith and Michael Socha.
1st time in Liverpool, visited this bar because it is mentioned in one of my favourite songs- The Ballad of North John Street by Ian prowse. I can't rate this place highly enough!! I've been to over 30 countries, I know a good pub when I see one!! Special shout out to Trish the barmaid, who genuinely put Liverpool in a special place in my heart.
Think, genuine folk, old style bar, great prices for a city centre pub.
