About This Pub

Ah, The Crafty Pig in Manchester is one of those pubs that really knows how to pull in a crowd with its vibe and offerings. From what I've gathered from folks who've been, the food is spot on – think generous portions that hit the spot after a long day, and a cracking selection of craft beers and cocktails that keep the drinks flowing nicely. It's especially brilliant for catching live sport or diving into a bottomless brunch, where the staff often shine, going out of their way to make sure you're having a great time, just like that server who made birthdays feel special. On the downside, it's not all perfect; service can drag a bit when things get busy, and sometimes the portions feel a tad small for what you're paying, or the food arrives less than hot, which is a pity. All in all, it's a solid choice for a night out with friends, but I'd say it's best to pop in with realistic expectations and maybe avoid peak times to get the most out of it.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely delicious with generous portions that leave you feeling satisfied, especially for pub grub.
  • They've got a fantastic selection of craft beers and cocktails, making it a top spot for drinks enthusiasts.
  • The staff are really friendly and go above and beyond, like that server Jasmine who made bottomless brunches memorable.
  • It's got a lively atmosphere perfect for watching live sport or enjoying events like bottomless brunch with mates.
Cons
  • Service can be a bit slow at times, which might frustrate you if you're in a hurry.
  • Portions don't always feel worth the price, leaving you wishing for a bit more bang for your buck.
  • The food doesn't always arrive piping hot, which can take the edge off an otherwise nice meal.

Service extremely slow - non existent interaction with staff, we just walked in and found a table after waiting a few minutes. Wasn't that busy when we visited, ordered at the bar instead of downloading an app. Very disappointing portion size for the price, food was also not that hot. Tasted ok but wouldn't rush back. The booths with individual TVs were a nice touch to be able to see the TV if you wish. Music very loud so not the best for small babies/children. Very detailed menus - separate ones for gluten free and vegan. Great choice but not well presented.

Frequent visitors of the other Crafted Social, Director's Box, so came here with high expectations for bottomless brunch. We waited a long time to be seated and we immediately knew drinks would be much slower than Director's Box. This being said, we were pleasantly surprised by the service even if it wasn't quite as good. The food, however, was really poor and the drinks certainly weren't as nice as the sister bar.

I recently attended the Crafty Pig for a bottomless brunch for my birthday! Jasmine was the lovely lady who assisted us and served us on our visit. She went above and beyond to make sure we made the most of our 2 hour time slot and was consistent throughout!! The food was lovely and drinks were also really good! We had a lovely time and will definitely be back soon! Thank you Jasmine :) xx

i went to the bottomless brunch yesterday 1:30-4pm, our server jasmine was absolutely lovely and helpful, we spent £40 pp which seemed a lot but we had at least 7-8 cocktails each and they offer a kilogram of wings as a meal! will definitely be going again. the salted caramel sleigh cocktail is delicious, definitely recommend during the christmas period.
