About This Pub
Ah, The Commercial Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Dunfermline. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, they've got an absolute belter of a beer selection, with well-kept ales that keep the conversations flowing and nods to brilliant local breweries. The staff are genuinely lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which really adds to that cosy, welcoming vibe. On the food side, it's mostly a winner with hearty portions that could feed a small army – I'm thinking of those rave reviews for the chicken fajitas and chilli chicken that sound spot on. And if you're out with the dog, it's a bonus that they roll out the welcome mat for furry friends too. All of that, plus it's easy on the pocket, makes it a go-to for a relaxed evening. But let's be fair, it's not all roses; there have been a few grumbles about the odd dish not quite hitting the mark, like a burger that didn't impress, so you might want to play it safe with the menu choices. Overall, it's a solid spot with plenty to love, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area for a pint and some good craic.

This is a well deserved title, best pub in fife winner and previous best in Scotland, high contenders for the best in the UK, to which i certainly give my vote. The food was incredible, they have some of the best selection of ales also featuring "inveralomnd brewery".
You must give this pub a visit if you are traveling to fife or like me are a local and had no idea it was here, a true local gem for me.
