About This Pub
Ah, The Ball Room Sports Bar in Dunfermline – what a gem for anyone who loves a bit of pool, snooker, or darts; it's got this welcoming feel that makes you want to stick around for hours. I really appreciate how they've set up the games areas so well, with plenty of options that keep things entertaining, and the staff are just lovely, always chipping in with a smile and making sure everything runs smoothly. It's spot-on for a casual get-together or even a family day out, especially since it's so affordable – imagine getting quality time for £8 an hour! Plus, grabbing a pint while you're at it just adds to the fun. On the flip side, though, I've heard a few grumbles about some spots feeling a bit rundown, like the snooker rooms with their musty air and unfinished bits, which is a real shame because it could put off regulars who've been going for years. All in all, it's a solid choice if you're up for a relaxed game, but maybe give it a quick check beforehand to avoid any letdowns – trust me, the good bits far outweigh the bad, and it's worth popping in for a proper Scottish pub experience.

-
A fantastic spot for families; kids seem to love it, and it's a nice way to spend time together.
-
You can enjoy a cheeky pint while playing, adding that extra bit of relaxed vibe to the experience.
Cons
-
Some areas, like the snooker rooms, can feel a bit neglected and musty, which puts a damper on things.
-
Occasionally, parts of the venue aren't up to scratch, so you might end up disappointed if they're not fully sorted.
-
It can be a tad quiet at times, which might not suit if you're after a buzzing atmosphere rather than a peaceful game.

Went here for a wee game of pool with the bairns. Great setup, with pool, snooker, and darts available.
We didn't have any, but they also sell food.
Such lovely staff and very friendly always seem happy to help and the pool tables are amazing and such great prices
Pretty disappointed with our visit on Sat afternoon to play snooker. It seems as if they neglect the Snooker table areas. The whole room was musty, ceiling panels were taken off, picture frames on the floor. If the rooms aren’t ready, don’t open them.
It’s a shame as we’ve been coming here for years.
Nice clean place for a game of snooker or pool and many other games. My 2 kids love going here. There is not you can do for £8 an hour in this day and age. Also get to have a cheeky pint while I'm here. Staff are always friendly. I used to think that pool halls where full of men getting drunk and fighting with snooker cues. All are friendly. Try it out. Should mention, This looks like an advertisement. It's not.
Great place with very cool 😎 staff. This place is my heaven, but it was empty so maybe this helped as I'm an old git.
