About This Pub
Ah, The Brickyard in Carlisle – what a gem for anyone who loves a good night out with live tunes and a lively crowd. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the place has this warm, welcoming vibe that's perfect for catching up with mates over a drink or diving into one of their packed event line-ups, like tribute bands or comedy clubs. The staff sound like absolute stars, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, and the sound setup is spot on for those gigs – no complaints there from the folks who've been. It's got a real community feel, with events that cater to all sorts, from rock nights to quizzes, which keeps things varied and fun. On the downside, while they've made an effort with wheelchair access through the side door, the lack of accessible toilets is a bit disappointing and might put some people off until they get that sorted, as it's on the cards apparently. All in all, it's a solid spot for a memorable evening, especially if you're into music, but it's worth keeping an eye on those improvements to make sure it's just right for everyone. I'd say give it a go if you're in the area – you might just have a brilliant time!

Great little venue. Friendly staff. Good sound.
I like the Brickyard; it's a great little venue. Nice people and a great bar. Wheelchair access is possible via the side door. Currently, there are no accessible toilets, but I have been advised that there are active plans to convert the current performers dressing room into an accessible bathroom. That will take it from a great venue to a perfect venue.
Great gig, and lovely atmosphere
