The place has been run by the same folks for over a decade, and they're clearly passionate about what they do, creating a welcoming spot for a pint or a bite. The live music is a standout – it's a proper venue for gigs, with bands from all over popping in, and the atmosphere really gets you in the mood for a good night. Then there's the Sunday lunches; everyone raves about them, from the tasty roasts to the flavour-packed gravy and sides – even the veggie versions hold their own. At these prices, it's a bargain too.
