About This Pub
Ah, The Barrington Pub – it's one of those places in New Barnet that really knows how to get the crowd going, isn't it? From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this warm, welcoming vibe that's perfect for a Friday night karaoke session or catching the rugby with your mates; the staff are genuinely lovely, always up for a chat and whipping up some cracking cocktails that folks rave about. The setup for watching sports is spot on too, with loads of screens making it easy to soak in the game without missing a beat. But, let's be honest, it's not all smooth sailing – there are times when things get a bit too lively with some unsavoury goings-on that the team doesn't always nip in the bud, which can put a damper on the evening. And those drink prices, like £6.50 for a pint, might make you wince a little if you're planning a long session. Overall, it's a solid choice for a good time if you're in the area, but I'd say go in with your eyes open and maybe keep an eye on your wallet – it's got that classic pub charm with a few bumps along the way.
Pros and Cons

The bar staff are incredibly friendly and provide top-notch service; they'll go out of their way to make your favourite cocktails just right.
-
It's a brilliant place for catching the big games, with plenty of screens and a great layout that makes it easy to enjoy the action.
-
The drinks selection is spot on, particularly the cocktails, which come highly recommended for a tasty treat.
Cons
-
There have been reports of some disruptive behaviour, like rowdy crowds and unsavoury activities that can spoil the vibe.
-
Drinks are on the pricey side, with pints coming in at £6.50, which might make you think twice about sticking around for more than a couple.
-
It seems the staff don't always address certain issues promptly, which can leave things feeling a bit overlooked at times.

Full of loud, obnoxious coke addicts that the bar staff simply overlook. The second-to-last time I went, I saw young adults doing lines in the toilets (not even in a stall - by the sinks in the open), smoking weed outside the back (which you could smell from inside) and being super loud and inconsiderate around the pool tables. Yesterday, was a coked-up lad who was hurling insults at me whilst I was playing pool, running up and down the pub screaming his head off, and yelling inappropriate things whilst topless outside the front. The bar staff are aware of this and completely ignore it, and I suspect it's because one of them seems to be friends with these lads. It's a shame because the interior is very nice, there's a nice area at the back with two decent pool tables, and they serve good food at the restaurant (hence I have rated 2 stars as opposed to 1). However, until this problem with loud, disrespectful drug addicts screaming the pub down goes away, I will not be spending another penny here. Please sort it out!

First time there I went with my son to watch the rugby & was quite impressed great layout plenty of screens. The bar staff were friendly the only downside was £6.50 a pint so we only watched the first half.
This is the best place for a great Friday night out in Barnet!!!!! The karaoke hosted by Neil is the best part of it! I can’t wait to go back !!!!
I have been to this pub a fair few times and I have to say that the service is exceptional! The drinks are incredible especially the cocktails and when I came with my friends on Saturday 15th June Ye the barman was brilliant! His service was brilliant I asked if he could make me my favourite cocktail - Raspberry Collins and he didn't disappoint! It tasted amazing! Even though I live in Surrey this pub has become my local now and will definitely be back again for football and games of Pool 😊 thank you everyone at the Barrington 😊
