About This Pub
Ah, The Angel Inn – it's one of those dependable spots in Wolverhampton that you might stumble upon and think, 'This could be a nice little hideaway.' From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are absolute gems; they're quick with a smile and make the place feel warm and inviting, like chatting with old friends over a drink. The food's another highlight – think hearty portions of well-seasoned dishes like chicken wings or a mixed grill that leave you satisfied, and they've got outdoor seating for those sunny days when you fancy a bit of fresh air. It's clean as a whistle too, which always makes for a more enjoyable visit. On the flip side, it's got that classic local pub charm, which is great if you're in the neighbourhood, but it might not wow you if you're after something with a bit more excitement or variety. A couple of folks mentioned it felt a tad disappointing overall, perhaps because it's more about steady reliability than standout experiences. All in all, if you're looking for a straightforward, no-fuss spot to grab a beer and a bite, it's worth a go – just keep your expectations in check for a proper local feel.

We were in there very briefly. It seemed very nice. Very clean, very friendly and friendly staff. Adequate choice of beers on tap. Obviously, I might give it more if I had have stayed longer.
Lovely, friendly staff. The grill was fine, but disappointing overall. The atmosphere was fine, but it certainly is more of a local pub than anything - which isn't bad, just not what we were looking for.
We had the chips and chicken wings and honestly they was lovely. It was served quickly and the atmosphere was very peaceful.
The portions are big so we all ended up taking home some food! Generally, the food was well seasoned, well cooked, good amount of spicy and good flavour! The mixed grill was definitely smoking and the meats were quality👍🏼.
The bar is a very casual pub environment and there is a slight separation for the food area, but I think you can sit anywhere!
Great food with outdoor sitting available if u want! Everything was perfectly made! I highly recommend the chicken noodles and peshwari naan but even the rest of the dishes were equally amazing!
