About This Pub
Ah, the Springfield in Coppull – it's one of those pubs that really grows on you once you step inside. I have to say, what stands out most is how welcoming the team is; Lisa and Craig go out of their way to make everyone feel part of the gang, whether you're there for a quick drink or one of their lively events like Springyfest, which had me laughing and dancing the night away. The beer's always spot on, and they've got this brilliant beer garden that's just the ticket for a relaxed afternoon watching the footie with friends. Plus, it's kept impeccably clean, and the community spirit is spot on – you'll find folks chatting away or enjoying a game of pool. On the flip side, though, it's not the place if you're after a hearty meal; they seem to focus more on drinks, and even a simple packet of crisps will set you back a fair bit, which feels a tad over the top. Sometimes it can be a bit quiet if you're new, relying on the regulars to keep things going, so it might not always hit the mark for a big night out. All in all, it's a solid spot for a catch-up, but keep those expectations in check for the best experience.

-
It's got a fantastic atmosphere with regular events like live acts and themed nights that keep things lively and fun.
-

They offer great value on drinks and have loads of sports coverage, so it's ideal for catching up with mates over a pint.
-
There's a real community feel, with friendly faces and activities like pool that add to the enjoyment.
Cons
-
Prices can be a bit steep for simple things like crisps, which might put a dent in your wallet if you're not careful.
-
Food options are limited – it's mostly about drinks, so if you're hoping for a proper meal, you might end up disappointed.
-
The atmosphere isn't always buzzing for newcomers; it can feel quiet with just a few regulars, depending on the time.
-
There might be occasional inconsistencies in service, as one person mentioned issues with the landlady that could affect your visit.

no food, no atmosphere. even a packet of crisps costs £1.55 the price is just ludicrous just a couple regulars and that’s it really. if you’re a newcomer the staff are friendly at first, the vast majority of bar staff are very nice the only issue is the landlady, they will happily charge you £4 for a pint that costs them 60p but then be disrespectful straight to your face. i have no problems with the bar workers EXCEPT from the landlady who is very rude. I cannot comment on the LANDLORD, I have not spoke to him but the landlady is on some kind of power trip and has no respect for the customers who are keeping the pub open
Landlords Lisa and Craig are very welcoming and put on some amazing nights and acts on! Springyfest was bloody amazing never laughed and danced so much! The new beer garden looks gorgeous as well, so happy they’ve made this local great again 😁
We had a great night at the western night. Group of 6 ladies and all really enjoyed it. Landlord and landlady were very inviting. Great atmosphere, staff and deals. Will definitely be going again
